Our History

The Midway Trap & Skeet Club started its life as the Village Skeet & Trap Club in 1949 as a way for hunters, fishermen and like-minded individuals to gather and enjoy the outdoors and shooting sports.

In 1959 the club was re-named the Midway Trap & Skeet Club. Land was purchased off Old Meetinghouse Road in East Falmouth and designated for use by the members of the club.

The purpose for which the club was organized has held true since the beginning.

To promote, maintain and manage our club and its grounds for the safe use by its members
To teach respect for all things outdoors, including safe firearm use, respect for our resources and the animals that we enjoy.
To help promote and teach our local youth about the outdoors and what our club stand for.
As a gathering place for club members.
